Thirty Days Hath September
Thirty days hath September,
April, June and November,
All the rest have thirty-one,
Excepting February alone.
Which has but twenty-eight days clear,
And twenty-nine in each leap year.
This rhyme was first published in the middle ages
It does not have any particular historical or political significance and has been used to help children and adults remember the number of days in each month.
